WinZeal Today is your home page
which you get to see as soon as you login to WinZeal Express 3.0. It gives a
lot of important information that's probably useful to you as you being your
work day.
WinZeal Express enables you to
customize your WinZeal Today page (dashboard) completely. The dashboard is a
normal web page which can contain all the elements of a regular website. You
can integrate the dashboard with your Intranet systems or other web
applications if required. The kind of integration you can do largely depends
on your knowledge of HTML and web applications.
WinZeal Express 3.0 looks for a file named WinZealToday.HTM
under the WinZealToday folder (inside your installation
folder). You are required to edit this HTML file to make
changes to your dashboard. You can use a tool like Microsoft
FrontPage or Macromedia Dreamweaver to make changes to the
dashboard.
WinZeal Express uses a number of system variables which can
be arranged in any layout you are comfortable with. These
variables tell WinZeal Express about the type of data it
needs to insert in a particular area. For instance, if you
wish to know the total number of active accounts in your
database, you could use the variable [ShowCountActiveAccounts].

You can also choose to include charts in your dashboard. If
you are using an old PC/laptop (maybe a PIII), we suggest
you remove the variables that generate the charts.
